The Wannamaker family, which has held this land since 1957, designed and developed Arcadia Farms to reflect a commitment to nature you'll find at every turn. The property was productive for its timber and was even farmed for a time. More than six miles of old logging trails have been preserved as nature trails plus tree preservation is a mandate. A boardwalk with benches is being created for those who enjoy bird watching and other wildlife as they go about thier daily routines.
"So Diverse are the Habitats, that school groups of children are invited to walk thorugh the woods to enjoy an educational experience in the true nature of this special area."
A 90 foot wildlife travel corridor has been reserved to allow wildlife the ability to travel safely and with easy access to the water. Docks will be limited to two boat landings and only small electric powered boats will be allowed to order to protect the water quality of this well stocked lake. |
